Phoebe Tonkin Opens Up About Relationship With Paul Wesley

Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin are definitely one of our favorite couples in the Vampire Diaries and Originals universe, but they tend to keep to themselves and not open up about their relationship. But the 25-year-old Aussie actress recently opened up about her beau and it’s the most adorable thing we’ve read lately.

“My most memorable holiday to date was when I recently rented a house in Mexico with my boyfriend,” she told Lara Bingle of The Base. “We spent the week drinking margaritas, riding bikes, eating guacamole and reading books by the sea. It was so simple and so perfect.”

Phoebe went on to chronicle her awesome childhood growing up in Australia. This actress, who would later play a mermaid on H2O: Just Add Water before diving into supernatural roles, was quite the beach-goer when she was just a kiddo. And you better believe Phoebe was a stickler for putting on her sunscreen!

“I grew up by the ocean, my high school overlooked Balmoral Beach in Sydney,” she continues. “I remember wearing my bathers under my school uniform and jumping in the water before school. I'd always find sand in everything from my shoes to my pencil case.”
