Paul Wesley Is Wearing a Wedding Ring — But Why?

We know Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley is loving life with girlfriend and former co-star Phoebe Tonkin — you can see it all over the interwebs. So when we saw him share a photo wearing a wedding ring and another lady by his side, we definitely took notice. What’s going on in this oh-so-sweet snapshot?

The lucky gal who is sporting a wedding band beside Paul is none-other-than Eva Amurri Martino, aka Susan Sarandon’s daughter. Eva and Paul — along with a slew of other powerhouse thespians including Laura Dern, Sharon Stone, and Susan herself — are starring in the upcoming 2015 filmMother’s Day. Paul is playing a character named Kevin, an artsy pastry chef who’s romantically entangled with Eva’s character, Gayle.

Just in case you’re wondering whether or not Paul can pull off the pastry chef look, don’t fret. We might go as far as saying Paul looks even more adorable wearing a white apron than he does snapping necks and sipping blood on The Vampire Diaries. There’s really no role we think this dude would look bad in, but we’re super excited to see him tackle this one.
