The Vampire Diaries Season 6, Episode 9 — 10 Burning Questions
We only have one episode of The Vampire Diaries left before the holiday break, and we’re dying to get some answers about what will happen to our favorite fang gang. Here are 10 burning questions we have from Season 6, Episode 9 (“I Alone”).
What is Matt’s plan? We love Matt, but he’s not exactly a vampire hunter. And Jeremy isn’t exactly the most reliable ally right now, either. What is Matt’s plan for taking down Enzo? And will it be successful? Our guess: probably not.
Is this the last we’ve heard of Sarah Salvatore? We have to admit: we were not expecting the bait-and-switch reveal that the new girl in town was actually a con artist pretending to be Sarah Salvatore. It seems a strange storyline to bring up unless TVD plans on following it through by eventually introducing us to the real Sarah Salvatore. We’re so in.
Will Alaric forgive Damon? Watching Alaric defend Damon when we knew Damon had used him to steal the ascendant from Jo was heartbreaking, and we can understand why Alaric feels so betrayed. Will he ever forgive Damon?
Is there another way to get Bonnie out? There has to be, right?
Which Parker(s) will die? We’re taking bets on the Parkers’ chances. Right now, it’s not looking good or Jo, but we’re equally worried about Liv and Luke. Kai will have to die eventually, but we’re guessing he’ll cause some havoc first.
Will Tyler take Kai’s deal? We love Tyler, but he is just short-sighted enough to take Kai up on whatever crazy deal he’s offering to save Liv’s live. We’re guessing it involves turning Jo over to Kai, and given that Tyler has no emotional connection to the good doctor and seems pretty intent on saving his new girlfriend, we think he is going to seriously consider taking it.
Can we see Damon’s video diaries? But really. There has got to be some comedy and drama gold on there. Extra points if Bonnie and Damon got bored one day and started making short films together.
Will Kai target the people of Mystic Falls? We’re pretty much just worried about Sheriff Forbes (we’re always worried about Sheriff Forbes), but Matt and Jeremy are vulnerable, too. Kai implied to Damon and Elena that he was planning on going full psychopath on the Virginian hamlet. Was he bluffing?
Has Elena given up on her memories? There were some sweet Delena moments in this week’s episode. The two seem to be moving on, all about creating new memories to replace the ones Elena had compelled away. Does this mean she has given up on getting her memory back? Because we still have a few theories on how she can un-Eternal Sunshine herself.
Where is Caroline? We are so over Caroline not appearing in episodes. It’s nice and everything that she and her mom are hanging out so much, but can’t they do it on-screen?
