Vampire Diaries Season 6, Episode 7 Spoilers: What to Expect in "Do You Remember The First Time?"
Damon may be back from the dead, but that doesn’t mean Team Vampire has solved all of its supernatural (and romantic) problems on The Vampire Diaries. This week, the gang will be creating and solving all kinds of messes. Here’s everything we know about Season 6, Episode 7 (“Do You Remember The First Time?”).
Elena is moving on. Things are not coming up Delena in this promo for Thursday’s episode. In it, we see Elena kissing Liam, her hot med student crush and telling Damon that she doesn’t remember them (subtext: so, leave me alone). Damon does not seem cool with this plan. For more evidence of Liam and Elena’s simmering romance: check out this promo photo, and just hope Damon didn’t take it.
Steroline time. Things looked bleak between these former-besties in last week’s episode and, well, they still look kind of bleak from the looks of this promo photo that has Caroline and Stefan facing off in the dorm. But, hey, at least they have scenes together — and it totally looks like Stefan’sgroveling.
There ain’t no party like a Whitmore party. OK, so it’s actually the Whitmore Medical Center Fundraiser, but doesn’t that sound so lame? In the promo, we can see that people are all gussied up and have brought dates, so we’re going to call it a party.
Damon is jealous. Speaking of dates, when Elena brings Liam to the party, Damon is ready to flip his lid. Liam thinks he could take on Damon. Damon thinks Liam’s confidence is sexy. So...thumb war?
Elena’s memories? According to the synopsis, Elena’s past “comes back to haunt her” and she is “forced to face her problems head on.” Is her past Damon or her memories of Damon? From the looks of the promo, maybe both? Fingers crossed for some amazing Delena flashbacks. Fingers not crossed for too many amazing Delena flashbacks. (We live in the here and now, man.)
Jo’s backstory...finally. Jo called herself a witch in the last episode, but we want to know more. Is she really a witch? If so, why is she at Whitmore? If not, what is she that can resist compulsion? According to the synopsis, “After a night out at the annual Whitmore Medical Center Fundraiser, Jo opens up to Alaric about her own tragic past.” Oh, we are so Team Jolaric.
Trip’s keeping secrets. Tripp skulked away into the night after almost killing Damon, Enzo, and Alaric in last week’s ep. This week, Stefan, Matt, and Enzo will “resort to extreme measures when Tripp withholds information about his vampire-killing operation.” Are they torturing the community militia leader? And what more information could Tripp possibly have?
Sheriff Forbes is in danger. Perhaps Team Hero Hair is pissed because Tripp has kidnapped Sheriff Forbes. According to the synopsis, “Caroline is in a race against the clock when Sheriff Forbes gets caught in the middle of a dangerous plan.” Has Tripp laid a Caroline Trap?
LivTyler romance heats up. We’re totally on board with the Liv/Tyler romance, but sometimes it feels like they are on their own supernatural college romance show (spin-off!). This week, onLivTyler, the two characters “grow closer.” Hmmm....
Damon makes a discovery. According to the synopsis, “Damon stumbles upon a startling clue that renews his hope” in this episode. We’re guessing this has something to do with Elena and her memories, but it would make us so much more happy if he has gotten his act together and is trying to save Bonnie.
Bonnie is back. And by back, we mean back in this episode. She’s probably not back in the land of the living because that would be too easy, wouldn’t it? We do see her racing into the Mystic Falls hospital in this promo photo. She looks scared. Is she running from Kai? Someone please help her. (Damon, we’re still looking at you.)
