Ignoring all of the craziness going on, both at Whitmore College and back home in Mystic Falls, Elena and Caroline are attempting to throw a feast in their dorm room for their friends and family. Too bad it probably won’t go down that easily.

These sneak photos from Season 6, Episode 8 (“Fade Into You”) show the gang — still minus Bonnie — gathering to break bread or whatever sure-to-be delicious thing Jo (Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) has concocted. But don’t think this dinner will go down without someone’s life hanging in the balance! Turns out Jo, who just revealed details about her horrible past, will end up “fighting for her life.”

And while we are seeing photos from the Thanksgiving dinner, there’s one person we should be a little more worried about: Kai . This season’s resident psychopath is going to find renewed hope in escaping his 1994-based hell.
