Caroline Is "Glowing"

We’re always on the lookout for spoilers concerning our girl Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola). The Vampire Diaries gal is one of our favorite characters, and we just want her to do be happy (OK, maybe after some drama and angst). Luckily, it seems like homegirl might be heading toward some happier times. Check out this shot from Season 5, Episode 20!

“#LiveFromMysticFalls: Caroline Forbes glows bright, thanks to the amazing @CandiceAccola. #TVD 5x20 #DirectorPride,” director Joshua Butler tweeted from the set, along with a photo of Candice looking particularly radiant as Caroline. But is there any particular reason Caroline is glowing, we wonder? A new romance, perhaps? In the synopsis for Season 5, Episode 17 (“While You Were Sleeping”), we learn that Caroline and Enzo go on a road trip to find a new doppelganger and that “Caroline is surprised when Enzo opens up to her about his past.”

The same synopsis tells us that “Stefan and Caroline share a special moment of friendship.” Is that a euphemism for something romantic, or are these two really just reveling in their best friendship? We hope it’s the latter — Steroline makes the best besties — but, either way, we’re just glad to see Caroline smiling again! Especially given that we think things are about to get bad for our fang gang. Two words: The Travelers.
