It’s about time! Delena is back you guys, and now we finally have the hook up we’ve been waiting for. Okay, we’re still kind of waiting for Steroline but I have good news about them, too! Watch the super sexy trailer above.

Brace yourself, Delena fans. Ever since we saw that epic rain kiss go down between Damon and Elena on The Vampire Diaries, we’ve been waiting for them to reunite and for her to somehow remember him. Well, we’re not sure that is happening but the reunion definitely is. And it is steamy.

“If we’re gonna do this, we shouldn’t just pick up where we left off,” Elena says to Damon in the new trailer for “Woke Up Like a Monster,” the next episode.

Now, where they left off before he died, was in the midst of getting back together. However, she doesn’t remember any of that. But does she get her memories back somehow? Well, she did get away from Kai  and he has magic, so maybe he gave them back? Regardless, she ends up letting her guard down.
Later in the clip, we see her arms wrapped around Damon’s neck.
“I thought you wanted to start over. Because FYI, this is exactly where we left off,” Damon tells her, while he tucks her hair behind her ear. ” I don’t care, life’s too short,” she responds — and with that, the kiss.

What Does That Kiss Mean?

I’ve watched this repeatedly and I do have to admit I have some questions. How is “life too short” when you’re a vampire? This does make me wonder if maybe something happened while she was locked up with Kai. Could she be a human again? Or is she just saying that because after almost dying at Kai’s hands, she realized how much she missed him.
