Nina Dobrev has moves. The Vampire Diaries actress was at the Austin City Limits Music Festival this past weekend, and she and bestie Jessica Szohr gave an impromptu dance performance to Icona Pop’s live performance of “I Love It.” And it was awesome. Check out the video!

“#ACL @iamjessicaszohr We dance when we want. Sometimes we mess up. We don't care. We love it,” Nina captioned the WhoSay video of herself and Jessica breaking it down to the Swedish DJ duo’s performance. The actresses do a synchronized dance before erupting into laughter and giving each other a congratulatory hug. Adorable!

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Nina dancing to Icona Pop. The TVDer was part of the Dancing With the Stars holiday dance war between the Houghs and the Ballas last Christmas season. She, Derek Hough, Julia Hough, and the rest of the Hough family choreographed an epic dance video to Icona Pop’s “All Night.” We were very impressed.

But should we have been surprised? Before becoming an actress, Nina used to compete as a rhythmic gymnast. She remains “stupidly flexible,” in the words of TVD stunt coordinator John Copeman. He told Entertainment Weekly about staging and filming the fight between Elena and Katherine in the Season 4 finale...

“Hats off to Nina for the workload she had that day: Two characters, remembering fight choreography, staying in character, throwing kicks in boots that really aren’t ideal to throw kicks in. And she’s so flexible, she had really good control. She’s throwing a sidekick at a stunt double’s throat, and she’s pulling it and just basically placing it there, but still acting still performing. So stating the obvious, but she really made this fight.”
