Vampire Diaries Season 6 Spoiler: We’ll Learn About Liv and Luke’s Coven!

Remember how much Liv and Luke complained about their badass coven and its strict rules toward the end of The Vampire Diaries Season 5? From what we just read over at TVLine, it sounds like we’ll be learning a whole lot more about this mysterious crew when Season 6 kicks off.

“[Their coven is] linked heavily into the deeper mythology of the show this season,” executive producer Caroline Dries explains. “Once we start understanding why the heck we’re at Whitmore and what their coven is all about, we’ll really understand their plight in life and how it affects our characters.”

Geez, it definitely sounds like the Wonder Twins will be a huge part of this season. We kind of thought that since they caused so much trouble at the end of last season they would have skipped town for good, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Not only are Liv and Tyler exuding some major chemistry in this sneak peek for Season 6, Episode 1 (“I’ll Remember”), but we still haven’t delved into their history yet.

We can’t wait to learn more about Liv and Luke mostly because they are so mysterious to us right now. Also, we really hope Luke’s sexuality is played up this season and they give him a romantic connection — that is, you know, if they last long enough.
