Our favorite television BFFs — Stefan Salvatore and Lexi Branson — have finally found each other once again! While Lexi may have trapped herself on the Other Side forever during the Season 5 finale of The Vampire Diaries, it looks like the actors are still closer than ever in the real world.

Our hearts were filled with joy when Lexi showed up in the Season 5 finale, joining up with Stefan when he arrived on the Other Side after dying in the previous episode. When everyone else — including Alaric Saltzman — made their way through Bonnie Bennett back to the land of the living, Lexi saw how much it was hurting her and decided to stay dead. It was pretty devastating.
Even though it’s pretty obvious Lexi is gone forever now that the Other Side is gone, we will get to see more of the fun-loving gal in Season 6 thanks to one of TVD’s greatest plot devices: flashbacks. We can’t wait to see her back in action once again!
