The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Will Be "Journey Back to Each Other"

Fans are still reeling from Damon’s death in The Vampire Diaries’ Season 5 finale, but it sounds like Damon lives after all — well, in some way or another.
The leaked marketing poster for Season 6 of TVD (via SpoilerTV) shows our trio — Elena, Stefan, and Damon) —  and the caption below reveals that “Season six will be the story of their battle between good and evil within themselves, and their journey back to each other to reclaim their home.”
Does this mean Mystic Falls is still under the Travelers’ curse? Why else would they need to “reclaim their home”? And seeing as the mini synopsis says that Season 6 will be the story of “their journey back to each other,” does this mean Damon and Bonnie are still out there? Will Season 6 be the story of Damon and Elena’s journey back to each other? It seems pretty likely, since we haven’t gotten official confirmation that Ian Somerhalder is off the show.
The Season 5 finale of TVD found Damon trapped on the Other Side with Bonnie as it was collapsing. In the final moments of the episode, Bonnie asks Damon if he think it will hurt, and before he has time to finish his response (“I don’t kno…”), the screen fades to white. Does this mean Damon and Bonnie are gone for good? That remains uncertain. But we doubt they’ll be returning to the land of the living anytime soon. So are they stuck in another realm? We’ll have to wait and see, but at least this marketing poster offers Delena fans a bit of hope.
