Funny Or Die was a hit

'Genius': The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev Left Impressed By Barack Obama's Funny Or Die Video

The actress thought it was very funny
It It appears President Barack Obama's appearance on Funny Or Die was a hit with fans and celebrities alike after The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev expressed how much she enjoyed the sketch.
Having tuned into the Funny Or Die sketch where the President of the United States was being interviewed by Zach Galifianakis for his show, Between Two Ferns (literally), Nina couldn't help but tell her fans on followers on Twitter how much she enjoyed it.
Posting a link to the video, Nina tweeted: "LMFAO. Barack on FOD. Genius."

And genius it was!
Equipped with hilarious comebacks, President Obama was on top form as Zach asked him a range of questions, including some about his presidency and the fact that he can't run for President again.
When Zach asked: "It must kind of stink, though, that you can't run [for president] three times?", the President shot back: "If I ran a third time it would be like doing a third Hangover movie. It didn't really work out very well, did it?", before going on to rile Zach up a bit more by gushing about how good Bradley Cooper was on The Hangover.
He said: "He kind of carried that movie didn't he? He basically carried them. Good looking guy."

Zach also asked the President how he felt about being a nerd to which President Obama hit back with: "Do you think a woman like Michelle would marry a nerd. Why don't you ask her whether she thinks I'm a nerd."

Following the popularity of the sketch, executive producer Scott Aukerman has revealed to Vulture that nothing was off limits in the interview.
"We kept expecting resistance, but there wasn't any," he told Vulture. "We kept expecting them to say, 'no, no, no, you can't have that joke', or 'no, no, no, you can't be funny, it has to all be about the Affordable Care Act'.
"They knew that it had to be funny and it had to be what we normally do for anyone to actually watch it. So, to their credit, they actually stayed out of our way with it."
