The Vampire Diaries is adding a new, recurring character. According to Send2Press Newswire, Drew Stephenson has best cast as Collin to appear in two upcoming consecutive episodes of the vampire drama. What will Collin be up to? Here’s everything we know!

Though we don’t know much about this Collin character, we do know which other characters he’ll be hanging with, thanks to this tweet from Drew himself: “Preparing for my last scene with Caroline Forbes…” Last implies that there are multiple, so we think Collin’s arc might have something to do with our Care Bear’s quest to find a cure to her mother’s terminal cancer. According to the synopsis for the winter premiere, Caroline and Stefan Salvatore will be traveling to North Carolina to look for a cure. Could Collin be a specialist in this search?

Alternatively, Collin could be related to the ongoing plot of the mysterious Sarah Salvatore. We know from the synopsis that Stefan will have his “own intentions” for going on the trip. We think this might refer to the fact that Stefan’s relative, Sarah Salvatore, is currently a student at Duke. Could Collin’s character have something to do with Sarah? Perhaps, he is the long-lost Salvatore relative’s boyfriend? We’ll have to wait and see.

Lol.”
