Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley on Set Will Make You Swoon

 

We’ve made no secret of our love for the Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley bromance, or for our appreciation of any and all Defan storylines on The Vampire Diaries. Our love for these two characters, and the actors who play them, knows no bounds — which is why we’re so in love with this recent behind-the-scenes photo of Ian and Paul from the TVD set. Check out their gorgeousness!

“These two dudes on set- Stefan and Damon Salvatore shot by the magnificent genius- @chrisgrismer,” Ian captioned an Instagram photo that has Ian and Paul playing their vampire counterparts. In the pic, they are standing side-by-side in shadow, with Stefan looking expectantly over at a worried Damon. What could be going down in Season 6, Episode 14 to have these boys so pensive?
This isn’t the only photo director Chris Grismer took on set. He also snapped a similar shot of Ian with Nina Dobrev. Nina is looking at the camera with a smirk on her face, and both she and Ian look oh-so-cool as their on-screen personas. We were already excited to see this episode because of Chris’ return as director and the ep’s simple-yet-powerful title, but these shots up our anticipation level even further. They also make us want an entirely black-and-white episode of TVD. How cool would that be? Make it happen, show!
