Vampire Diaries Star Nina Dobrev Shows Off Stunning Eyes in #Flawless Selfie

You might not recognize Nina Dobrev in her latest social media selfie. The Vampire Diaries starlet took to Twitter to share a photo of herself wearing color contacts — and she’s nearly unrecognizable. Check it out!

“Sunday #selfie. Want the look? Follow @airoptixcolors #LiveInColor #spon,” Nina captioned the photo of herself looking fiercely at the camera. Instead of her trademark chocolate eyes, she is rocking blue ones. It’s actually kind of surprising how different it makes her look.

This is all very fitting considering, in an interview with Bellasugar back in May, Nina joked that she could use the contacts to go incognito on dates. “I can trick people when I go on dates,” Nina told the site, theorizing on possible uses for color contacts. “Maybe I can use it as a way to meet new people and not get recognized.” We’re not sure if they’re that convincing, but maybe if Nina finds someone who suffers from The Lois Lane Dilemma, aka not being able to recognize someone when they take off their glasses or, in this case, changes their eye color.

Nina is a total selfie queen — most likely because her life is so action-packed. In addition to showing off her peepers in all hues, she’s found time in the last few weeks to hang at the U.S. Open with Paul Wesley, schmooze with Donatella Versace, and lounge by the lake. And this is in addition to starring in her own television show. We’re kind of impressed.
