Paul Wesley Hides Out at a Hockey Game During Shocking Vampire Diaries Episode

Think Paul Wesley was attempting to avoid the backlash of angry Vampire Diaries fans? While the most shocking episode of the series was airing on Thursday, May 8, the actor hunkered down at a hockey game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

For those of you who missed it, Paul’s character Stefan had his heart ripped out by Tyler when Tyler was possessed by a Traveler named Julian. While being killed on the show certainly doesn’t mean a character is gone for good, Paul hasn’t been very helpful in easing our fears. After the East Coast airing of the episode, Paul took to Twitter to say, "Stefan is done-zo. Sorry guys."

All that said, we haven’t given up hope for Stefan’s return, especially considering we still have one more episode left in Season 5. That’s plenty of time for Bonnie to stop the Other Side from imploding and figure out a way to bring Stefan back! Besides, they can’t go into the sixth season without one of the three main characters, right? Right? (Please say we’re right.)
