He also posted a photo on Twitter with the caption: "Spending my Saturday night directing a blue screen shot."The cast is definitely excited about it.Nina Dobrev, who plays the sexy Elena and Katherine characters on the hit show, took to Instagram to show off Wesley's directing skills.
"@paulwesley directing @paulvedere #TVD," Dobrev captioned the photo."TVD" costar Kat Graham also took to Instagram to show support.
"@paulvedere directing today," she said.
Wesley is definitely excited about his first directing experience.
"Even though I have been working in TV for years, it ended up being a blessing because I learned invaluable information," Wesley recnetly said. "They finally granted me an episode, which was met with a great deal of excitement and nervousness on my part."
We are sure Wesley's girlfriend Phoebe Tonkin will be really proud of him.
Wesley and Tonkin, 24, started dating last year. The two were spotted out together for the first time on Nov. 23, 2013, strolling arm-in-arm through the SoHo neighborhood in New York City. They wore matching black outfits and sharing a few laughs while looking smitten with each other.
Fans were looking for some Valentine's Day photos filled with cute PDA, but it looks like they didn't and won't be getting any anytime soon.
