Hair-raising!

Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev hams it up to promote shampoo line in China

Nina Dobrev certainly knows how to sell hair care products.
Without being able to speak the language, the 25-year-old used all her acting skills to get her message across in Beijing, China, on Wednesday.
As the official face of Lux, a shampoo line popular through Asia, the actress did her best to show that the product was working.

Not afraid to look a bit silly, the Vampire Diaries star did big exaggerated movements as she walked on stage in front of hundreds of screaming fans at the promotional event.
With her long brown locks expertly styled into a voluminous 'do with soft curls at the end, the actress ran her hands through the front of her locks before tossing her hair up into the air.
Her flowing locks' movement was replicated by the unusual and very glamorous gown the actress wore.

The long sleeved white dress was heavily embellished on the star's torso, with sheer material across her shoulders, making it look like a strapless dress.
Not finished there, the complex frock's sequins ended mid-thigh before flowing out in a sheer skirt that flew out as the star walked and kicked back her heels while posing for pictures.
With the dress already making such a statement, Nina kept her accessories to a minimum wearing a pair of hard to spot white caged heels under the layers of skirt.

The Vampire Diaries star has been the face of the popular hair care brand since 2013.
She also stars in the commercial but does not have much of a speaking role in account of her not speaking Japanese, Mandarin or any of the other languages where the product is sold in.
Nina has been taking a break from filming her CW series which does not return until October with its sixth season.
Making the most of her time off, the actress has become quiet the globe trotter, vacationing in the French Rivera, Switzerland, Bali and now is in China.
