Jewelry For Charity!

Nina Dobrev Teaming Up With Gorjana Jewelry For Charity!

Nina Dobrev is a class act. The Vampire Diaries star is teaming up with Gorjana Jewelry to raise funds and spread awareness of epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a rare connective tissue disease that results in extremely fragile skin that blisters and tears from friction or trauma. It currently has no cure and, in extreme cases, can be fatal. What is Nina doing to fight against this genetic disorder?
According to InStyle, Nina is teaming up with Gorjana Jewelry for a 24-piece collection curated by Nina and with proceeds from the collection benefitting the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation (EBMRF). Titled the “Nina 4 EBMRF” collection, it is available from now until May 14th. The gold-themed collection includes butterfly, arrow, heart, and star motifs, along with our personal favorite: the Marina Midi Ring, a rose gold-plated band.
It’s amazing Nina finds time in her day to curate a charity jewelry collection. She just finished filming on the fifth season of TVD, and is off to Louisiana this week to start filming on horror film The Final Girls, starring Malin Akerman and Taissa Farmiga. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film “centers on a girl who, along with her friends, is mysteriously transported into the world of an iconic ’80s horror flick, which starred her recently deceased mother (Akerman), a famous scream queen. The group must try to survive the movie and defeat its crazed killer.” Nina will play the “alpha ex-best friend.” This summer, she will star on the big screen in Fox comedy Let’s Be Cops.
