The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev Enjoys Low Key Oscars With A Pizza

Nina Dobrev may have not got an invite to the Oscars last night, but she didn't need to be on the red carpet to have fun.

With a night in front of the TV planned and the Oscars on, Nina who plays the role of Elena on the hit CW show, The Vampire Diaries, also let her fans know of what she was eating.

The actress also paid tribute to Sarah Jones - a crew member on TVD who sadly passed away last month.

In a picture showing a takeaway pizza, Nina added the caption: "Ordered pizza for din din while we watched the #Oscars tonight and added BACON for Sarah :) #BaconForSarah ... She would have loved it.

Meanwhile, Nina applauded the inclusion of Jones in the In Memoriam segment of the Oscars after Jones' friends, family and colleagues, including cast and crew members of hit show The Vampire Diaries where she worked, led a petition urging the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences to add Jones to the In Memoriam segment of this year’s Oscar’s telecast.

 

However, her name wasn't included in the montage of actors and actresses who passed away. Instead, a bar ran across the bottom of the TV screen with her name at the end of the segment, hinting that perhaps it was too late to include Jones in the final edit of the video
