The Vampire Diaries Synopsis For Season 5, Episode 15: "Gone Girl"

The race to save Elena(Nina Dobrev) is far from over, and it sounds like the mission is the main concern of Season 5, Episode 15 (“Gone Girl”), which doesn’t air until March 6.

Nadia (Olga Fonda) will be in flashback mode, remembering her intense struggle to look for her mother, while some of our favorite Mystic Falls friends are going to come up with a new idea to save Elena’s life — which we can only assume would mean bad things for Katherine.

And remember that strange, new witch on campus? Looks like Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) are going to turn to the ever-mysterious Liv for the second time, most likely to perform yet another location spell. Meanwhile, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is going to get into a “nasty confrontation” with Tyler (Michael Trevino) and then escape to go seek out Dr. Wes Maxfield for some revenge. Seriously, we would be totally angry if we were turned into a super bad vamp killer, too.

But what really has us scratching our heads is that Bonnie is going to discover a “terrifying secret” that puts the lives the lives of all of her friends in danger. What could it be? Maybe it has to do with the Traveler mythology? Either way, we’re worried.

While Nadia remembers her centuries-long search for her mother, Stefan (Paul Wesley), Caroline (Candice Accola) andMatt (Zach Roerig) come up with a desperate new plan to save Elena’s life. For the second time, Bonnie and Jeremy must turn to Liv (guest star Penelope Mitchell) for help. Damon baits Tyler into a nasty confrontation, then takes off to seek revenge on Dr. Wes (guest star Rick Cosnett). Caroline and Tyler come to a new understanding. Finally, Bonnie learns of a terrifying secret that will threaten the lives of all her friends.
